Uzès is a historic village dating back to Roman times and has many beautiful heritage buildings such as the Saint-Théodorit Cathedral, the Fenestrelle tower, the Ducal Palace and of course the Place aux Herbes where you can enjoy a coffee or lunch at one of the many cafés. It also is the centre of the two bustling markets held weekly throughout the year.

The town also hosts a number of fairs and festivals celebrating its diverse culture. Join the celebrations at the ‘Nuits Musicales d’Uzès’ (July) the Garlic Fair (June) or the Truffle Fair (January)… Or simply enjoy the fresh local produce and the herbs of Provence at the markets.
